"This is a very nice 1947 D-18 Martin guitar. Mahogany neck, back, and sides. Spruce top. Nut is 1"and 11/16th". Original, except tuners, (martin type vintage) and strap/bridge pins. Some repaired cracks on top, one unrepaired crack on back. Sides look crack/repair free. I know little about guitars, but this one sounds and plays great. I think it has been oversprayed. The Brazilian bridge looks good, but it might have been shaved, not sure. Brazilian fretboard very little wear. Frets are in great condition. This guitar was stored for many years unplayed before I bought it, I've played it sparingly. Light weight, Grand piano sound, original case. Never had a strap pin installed on the neck. Pick guard is original. This thing sounds and plays great, fossil ivory nut and saddle. Intonation is perfect"
